Our Fair City was deeply honored recently by a visit from this famous Metropolitan Opera baritone, who conducted a series of master classes at the University of South Carolina. It is not widely known, but Mr. Milnes is the most recorded opera singer in history, more than Pavarotti (according to our local daily newspaper).
